I love these sisters

Fun, light hearted, love able characters. This is a great series. This is my second time on this series. I just missed Aunt Sister and Patricia Anne.

Keeps getting better

Patricia Anne is the ultimate Southern lady who raised her family in the fifties of Birmingham, Alabama, and now is enjoying her golden years. Her descriptions of that city are are spot on and her manners southern perfect with a soupçon of humor underneath it all. They are enchanting: warts, murders, loving and bickering family, and all.

I like these mystery books. I find it is nice to hear that us older gals can still have fun and still be apart of the community. We don’t stay 25 forever after all.

Wonderful Story

All of this series is wonderful. It is even more fun to listen to the Audiobook because the narrator makes the characters come to life.

The worst thing about this series is that it is closed. 😔 Oh how I wish there were more. All of these books are wonderful: plot, lots of humor, great characters, great character development, and a FABULOUS narrator.

I'm truly enjoying this series. The sisters are a delight and the narrator makes you believe you are truly there .

Good if you’re patient

Wraps up at the end pretty abruptly, but I was fine with that. It was entertaining.

Already read these, now listening

I read this whole series about 10 years ago and loved them! Now I am listening to them on audible books. I think the narrorater is perfect for these books. They are light reading, humorous but with a mystery to each one that keeps you guessing. I recommend them to anyone that likes mysteries and funny characters. I wish PBS would make a series of shows based on these books.

I so wish Anne George was still alive and writing

I have yet to find a writer who captures Anne's style of writing. Humor, realness, intrigue and innocence. We love listening to her books on audio. The narrator is/was the perfect pick for Anne's stories.

Okay, cute, worth a sale price.

Not so sure about purchasing others, maybe; we shall see! The storyline was good, excellent narration.
