Okay...

I love the story itself. And enjoyed the characters. But I nearly didn't finish it. The narrator did the whole book in nearly a monotone voice. There was little to no emotion in his voice. Maybe I am spoiled but usually there is some inflections or changes in characters voices but here was pretty much none.

Mystery with a bit of Romance

Decent mystery with interesting characters. Only slight connection to Sherlock Holmes. Performance was well-done.

Library Staff Reduction Via Murder

Chicago during the the current time period, in a large library of international repute; a murder victim is discovered the morning after a staff function. This is the tip of the iceberg, and more deaths and near deaths occur; but it’s starting to have a definite Baskerville flavor about.
