Cozy Mystery

Dianne Harman has created a town and characters that are interesting and believable. For those readers who like cozy mysteries this is a very enjoyable read. Kasey Logan does a good job in her narration of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Excellent Mystery Story

This was my first Dianne Harman listen and I can't wait to listen to more. The plot and characters combined to make a story that I couldn't push pause on. Narration was perfect for the story and made for an easy listen.

Murder in the Forest

Another great murder mystery solved, always love the way they get solved and love how the dogs always save the day. I really enjoy these mysteries. The narration is very good. Love the recipes at the end.

They thought they had committed the perfect murder

This book starts with the setting of 2 people getting rid of the body of someone they had murdered and everything they do so that there is no evidence left behind. Enter Michael a former police officer coming to town searching for a missing girl. A body of a young girl is found. Read on to see if how Michael and Liz can find the clues to nab the culprit. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and this is my honest review.

Nice mystery story

This was a good mystery story. The prologue pulled me in and the rest of the story kept my attention. Good characters and a good for nothing local cop makes for entertainment. If it hadn't been for Liz and Michael, the murder would probably still be unsolved. Some humor, recipes and good investigation by everyone but the local police chief. Missing teen thrown in and you have a story that is worth reading.

Good murder mystery - continuation of a series

This is the first book in a series, but I had no problem reading and enjoying the story - in other words you don't need to read any of the previous books to understand and enjoy the book.

A girl is missing and a new private investigator has been asked to help locate her. A murder makes the investigation even more urgent. Liz Lucas joins up with Mike to quickly investigate the lay of the land and to come up with some potential suspects.

I listened to the audio version and while the narrator was OK, there was some strange emphasis on some words in sentences. It didn't keep me from enjoying the story.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries without too many gruesome details. It's sufficiently complex to keep your interest.

This story was great! It had many twists and turns to keep you guessing. Always a pleasure to read or listen to Dianne Harman.

Twists and Turns Galore!

This is a fun mystery that keeps you guessing. I enjoyed all the twists and turns and the expected but not expected ending. Dianne Harman weaves in little things here and there to give you clues. The sheriff was a particularly frustrating character, making you just want to yell at him! The narrator, Kasey Logan, took some getting used to, particularly with the tempo of the private investigator, Mike. Definitely not a deal-breaker and once you're used to it, there is no issue. There are so many characters involved in conversations that she has to differentiate with more than just tonal changes in her voice. I recommend this cozy mystery.

Good

Getting rid of a body is the beginning, who was this person. When former policeman comes into town looking for a young girl and the man who convinced her to run away. Hearing about Liz and her sleuthing he asks for her help. Her stories are always interesting and trying to figure them out, the narration by Kasey was good. Given audio for my voluntary review
