Jodi’s plotting and characterizations are consistently wonderful! I love the short Christmas stories, but wait impatiently for the full novels.

Time traveling again

Loved this new story! I felt like I was time traveling as the book began. Where, When, how was it this happened to Max? Ah, I love Jodi's books. I am never bored!

Great stand alone

If you know Max, you will love this story, but even if you've never read any of the other books it's a great love letter to Agatha Christie.

Typical Saint Marys Adventure

Another Christmas romp for Max. Of course things go wrong Max is one of those characters that be dropped on the stereotypical desert island with a single palm tree. An adventure would still happen maybe a pirate ship would crash into the island

Max and Leon together

Loved the storyline but missed the usual characters, especially Markham. Hopefully all will be rejoined in the next book!
