I kind of liked this story.It was interesting yet confusing in parts. I think Mr Corbett might have done better to find a narrator,thoough he did get better towards the end of the book.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun Surrealism

Mr. Nachron’s list is an enjoyable surreal adventure of time travel and exploration of a world that is captivating. A short tale fraught with complications and fascinating characters. The ending is unpredictable and the book itself is entertaining.

The author, Mike Corbett weaves a tale that is clever, surreal, funny but also unconventional. Each character is well-developed and endearing in one way or another. The plot is smooth and flows well. Vivid in his word choices, Corbett paints the story in rich detail. The dialog is well done and authentic sounding.

As the narrator, Mike Corbett does a good job as well. His delivery is smooth and rhythmic. As author/narrator, Corbett tells the story more completely tonally. I enjoyed his performance.

This is one of those interesting books that you don’t necessarily see the ending or plot twists coming. If you are a fan of surrealism and quirk, this is a definite must listen. It is a book that you should set aside a quiet place to completely enjoy the adventure.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.

Well-narrated adventure!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Audible version of this quirky, time travel adventure with interesting characters and descriptions that make you feel like you're there. Very well narrated by the Author.

A wild ride

A clever, beautiful story. Swept away into the "other now" these characters are part of a fantastical story. Life, women, time and place travel, History....and fishing! Wonders of the universe abound - new ones. When this protagonist is back in the here and now, unique tales there as well. 'Bending time and space" in this wild ride by an eloquent writer. Every crazy, wild, mysterious and dangerous adventure is surpassed only by its mind-blowing escape. I love Mr. Corbett's reflections and observations of nature, human and otherwise.

An Interesting Fairy Tale

I did not really know quite what to think of this book. It had a bit of the Little Prince timeless flavor to it with time travel, the mysterious Mr. Nachron, searching for lost love and subtly presented life lessons. The book was rather slow paced, the beginning was especially a little challenging to follow but things picked up after a bit and the ending was well done and nicely wrapped up lose ends.

This is not my usual type of listen and I probably would not choose to listen to it again, but it was an interesting, thoughtful listen.

ACCEPTABLE FOR TEEN AUDIENCES AND UP.

NARRATOR/AUTHOR MIKE CORBETT IS GOOD AND WAS EASY TO FOLLOW.

Good light but thought provoking book

I love when authors narrate their own work if they can do it well. Mr. Corbett does his work well. I liked the story, the premise of time travel and the effect on others. This story was not about changing the world in any big way, but in a personal orbit of individuals.
I liked the way quotes from famous people were included by the author to enhance the story in meaning and relevance.
