Works like his fifth and ninth symphonies remain instantly recognizable over 200 years after they were composed, and their sweeping and grandiose nature are made all the more amazing by the fact that their author was gradually going deaf and couldn't hear music very well by the time he was composing them. Similarly, the "Moonlight Sonata” and "Für Elise" are renowned across the world and are some of the most famous piano pieces of all time.

This is a book I received from freeaudiblecodes and the narrator was excellent. The information was doubly so!
Two of the greatest composers of all time is made human, a person, then the extraordinary abilities that they possessed. The book follows their lives from birth to death with emphasis on major accomplishment and events in their lives. It's a short book but crammed with excellent information!
When I finished the book, I really wanted to know more about Mozart's sister and wife! They sounded like talented people themselves!
