FROM THE BEST SELLING AUTHOR OF THE SUPERVILLAINY SAGA:

"Welcome to the Moon!"

Neal Gordon and his partners, former actress Lucy Westenra and intelligent canine Barksley, are in hot water with Cyberlife after a bust goes disastrously wrong. Put on what is likely to be permanent suspension, they receive a job offer to work for EarthGov directly. Unfortunately, EarthGov is hiring them because they know a catastrophic plague is about to be unleashed throughout the Moon's neighborhood.

Neal finds himself trying to unravel a conspiracy involving poisoned narcotics, a sham church founded by humans from another planet, and a mysterious woman from his past that he was sure had died.

Enjoy this latest satirical entry in the Moon Cops series that is already a best-selling new entry in the Futurepunk universe (Agent G, Cyber Dragons, Space Academy) by C. T. Phipps!

Great addition to the series!

Moon City Vice
By C.T. Phipps
I fell in love with the first book in the series, and this one, although not as humorous, is just as good. There are actions, conflicts, twists, a sentient talking robot dog (my favorite character), and sprinkles of humor throughout the book. I enjoyed the plot and characters.
The action happens on the moon. Never a dull moment!
good narration

Lunar Laughs and Deadly Schemes

Returning to the wild and witty world of Moon City Vice felt like diving back into my favorite TV show. You know, because so many of them are set on the moon! This one comes complete with shady conspiracies and a talking dog named Barksley. C.T. Phipps delivers once again with his signature blend of snarky humor and high-stakes storytelling, crafting a universe that somehow manages to feel fresh and comfortably familiar.

Neal Gordon is as quick with his one-liners as he is with his trigger finger, and honestly, that’s exactly why I adore him. Whether he’s dealing with poisoned narcotics, alien-founded cults, or surprise appearances from supposedly dead acquaintances, the ride never slows down. Phipps packs every chapter with razor-sharp banter and frantic action that kept me laughing even as my pulse quickened.

But let’s talk about the real star for a moment: Barksley. Who knew an intelligent canine could be the perfect sidekick to balance the chaos? Whenever things threatened to get overly dramatic—and trust me, there’s plenty of drama—Barksley would step in with a perfectly timed quip or canine wisdom, reminding me why I love Phipps’ writing so much.

Alex Freeman’s narration is spot-on. His voice effortlessly captures Neal’s sarcastic charm and vividly brings each quirky character to life. Freeman’s skill in delivering deadpan humor is a huge part of what makes listening to these audiobooks so enjoyable—I couldn’t imagine experiencing Moon City Vice any other way.

If you’re already a fan of Phipps’ expansive multiverse, particularly the Supervillainy Series, you’ll feel right at home here. And if you’re new, get ready for a wildly fun introduction to some of the funniest, fastest-paced sci-fi satire out there. Just make sure you buckle up—lunar conspiracies wait for no one!

A near perfect follow-up

If the story of the first and second book switched places, the first book would be rated higher. However, I think this story fits perfectly as a follow up. This book allowed us to get to know the character in more depth than the first book. Though the story has similar potential apocalyptic outcomes, this one does not seem as bad which also to explore more depth of the characters. I was hesitant going into this book after the first, but I will be picking up book 3 when its released.
