Great book!

This is a great read. Very practical info I’ll be using with my 15 month old who screams a lot, not using words. Although I got to have this free on Audible, I really like to have the physical book to look at when needed.

A must have for all parents

I was concerned that this would just be a bunch of abstract ideas that wouldn't assist with the reality of "my sister won't share," yet every scenario seemed plausible and realistic. I want my mother, not you. You want to tell them to stop yelling or to do X, but the book suggests playing along by pretending to be the other person. With less science, it might have been a tiny bit shorter, but hopefully that will help me remember.

Very helpful and practical advice

Simple to understand and put into practice. provides an approachable way to implement the Montessori principles at every stage of a child's development as well as a basic review of the technique. Overall, it was a very interesting book that provided excellent information and examples of a variety of activities that were catered to the proper age group. The activities also emphasize how to use Montessori toys and media in a more responsible manner. These practical components of daily life include those that could, for example, encourage sensory development, coordination, and sense of order.

I very good and easy to listen to book!

As a mom of a two year old I’m always trying to better my way of communicating and understanding of how to handle him without it becoming a stressful and over stimulating process. I cannot wait to try and use some of these practices in my day to day life!
