Great reminder of a mother's role in raising a son
I almost didn't buy this book because I thought "my sons have a father who is actively involved in their lives" and "fathers teach boys to be men". But, I also desperately long to have a deep connection with each one of my children so I thought I'd give this book a listen. It was so helpful to me in redefining my role in each of my son's lives. Using examples of biblical mothers and their roles in their sons lives, the author transformed my thinking and helped me to see that alongside my husband, I too have a role to play in molding and shaping the kind of men they become. I highly recommend this book, especially if you have the same way of thinking and attitude towards raising sons as I did.

Fantastic book, poor narration.
This is such a wonderful written book I'm definitely recommending to my fellow mamas! Purchasing the audible version I was expecting the same level of professional narration that I have experienced with dozens of previous titles but that is not what I experienced with this one. Mispronounced words, long pauses, throat clearing, and loud swallowing didn't take away from the books message but should have perhaps reduced the price given the lower level of production and lack of professional editing for errors. One that sticks out:"salutation speech" instead of "salutatorian speech".

Highly Motivating, Eager Mother
I can't say enough good things about this book! It made me laugh and brought me to tears. I raved about it countless times to my husband and friends while reading it. I can't wait to use the advice with my 2 sons. It is packed with biblical wisdom. I am thrilled that Rhonda wrote this and that I was led to read it!

Wanted to like it and learn.
Wanted to like it and learn… But no… it is tooo goofy. Too many goofy examples. Goofy goofy goofy. Finally at “soiled diaper” Chapter 4 I had to stop. Will call Audible for a refund
