Very intriguing, never before done variation

Really liked this. At first, I was hesitant to get this since I thought it would be more of a sex-variation throughout, but it was not that at all, just a few scenes that can be fast-forwarded that are tastefully done. I also loved how the story followed much of the original story, or what could have happened had Mr Bennet passed away so suddenly.

Will defiinitely purchase more of this author's books.

I loved the narrator, but the recording was slightly subpar. There was a echo or something in this recording, which made it harder to hear at times.

Love this book

This book had to be one of my favorites. I hated what Elizabeth had to go through, but loved watching her fall for Mr. Darcy. I have listened to this audiobook 3 times so far and know I Williston again.

okay story, bad narrator

This is a good enough story, but the narrator makes it almost impossible to listen to. I liked howthe story is about Lizzy after a terrible period on her life where she was married to Mr Collins. The romance between Lizzy and Darcy is good. Unfortunately the narrator end almost every statement with a downward inflection and her reading took away much of thr meaning in the story. I will not be buying any other books read by this narrator in the future.

Heartwrenching. Heartwarming. And sometimes Steamy.

Heart wrenching; Mr Collins is a rake who turns out to be domineering in the worst way. This leads to a traumatized Elizabeth.

Heartwarming: Mr Darcy has loved Elizabeth since practically the first day they met. As fate will have it, he and Elizabeth’s have a second chance for love. And also a chance for healing.

Steamy: The title “Mistress” has a double meaning for sure. This book is proper and respectful and also wonderfully explores the steamier side of affection rarely seen in P&P variations.

I’ve read likely 100+ P&P variations. I recommend this book.
