Compelling and fun

Had a hard time putting this down. The descriptions of the settings were beautiful making me want to fly to York! Plot was not too predictable, which was refreshing. Do not regret spending one of my credits on this and will listen again.

Dreamy Cosy English Holiday

Loved the setting and story. It made me start researching trips to York (no joke)! The story was sweet without being saccharine or predictable.

Can’t wait for the Hallmark movie

The author, Helene Sula, took my imagination to another continent for Christmas for this story. I enjoyed every detail she went into when describing the architecture and feelings of traveling the first time to England. I really wish this was a movie too.

Lovely story with a little mystery, a little love, a little anxiety, and a lot of Christmas! Great descriptive storytelling that makes you feel like you’re there.

Perfect and dreamy Christmas story

I love this kind of story about new beginnings, and bonus point for being during Christmas! The story makes you dream about adventures in a beautiful little English tow. The story is refreshing, not another perfect love story.

The performance has only 4 stars because I had trouble imagining the character Charlie with that voice: I thought it was an older man. Other than that, no complains!
