Great story if you can look past the performance

The story was great. The narration for the character of Tessa was amazing; however, Lindsey was perhaps the worst narration I’ve ever heard. It was hard to make myself listen to those chapters, all the while counting down the minutes for the other narrator to come back!

Guilty Pleasure

Couldn't stop listening to this one! The narrator put her heart and soul into this book. Truly outstanding performance. Use a credit on this book. The ending might surprise you!

My kind of book

I loved the emotion and passion shown by both women in this book. I feel like I can relate to this situation and it’s so prevalent in our world that it’s nice to read about something so real and the different sides of the story.

Voice of Lindsey, like an adult baby talking.

The story was great, but the voice of Lindsey is so annoying. It pulled me out of the story so many times. I had to go back and repeat a section because I kept thinking, “Why would they choose this narrator?” It’s very distracting, like an adult talking baby talk.
The story was great and the voice of Tess is fantastic.

Narrative

It may have been a good story but I could not get past the narration. They were way over the top. It was just to much.

amazing performance

One of the best audio books I have ever heard. The performance for this book was immaculate. I felt like I was right there the whole time. Tessa's rage, Lindsey's heartache.... ugh just amazing.

Good reminder how complex people and relationships are!

Loved how this story was written-both women telling their story-will be looking for other books by this author!

Can you say anxiety?

My husband is sitting across from me looking at me like I'm about to kill him. He keeps asking if I'm okay. "No, Keith, I'm not. If you ever cheat on me, Keith, I will handcuff you to a bed and it won't be fun for you!". Haha! This book had me so anxious. I loved it! I don't think I've ever had a book do that to me before. I had to listen to all of it in one sitting. The narrators were both excellent!! I completely understood the wife's side. My 1st husband cheated on me repeatedly and to say those feelings came back as I listened to this book is an understatement. I felt somewhat badly for the mistress as well. Excellent book!

I listened to this book nonstop all day. Courtney Cole dug deep to write this. I applaud her and will look for other books written by her. BRAVA!!!!!!

Fantastic

Been so bummed with the crap lately I had to splurge outside my monthly credit and return policy and buy this gem. Great book!
