Easy read

I love the way that she kept it easy and simple to explain all concepts that have to do with personal finance. Wish I would of ran into this book sooner. Highly recommend it!

Relatable!

Like Yanely, my family’s also Dominican and rarely any of us had any sense of financial literacy. I’ve had trouble getting through many finance books but this one did it for me, especially because of Yanely’s background. She’s such a powerhouse and I learned so much from this book!

Had me hooked from the beginning

Credit and investing were the topics I learned the most about. The storytelling in this book makes the financial information so much easier to hear. The stickiness and engagement are really high and hearing books narrated by the actual author are the BEST. This one does not disappoint!

Loved her heart about educating others

If I had to rate this book off of what i learned, i would have given it 3 stars. BUT - that’s because i don’t think this book was meant for me. While i didn’t learn a lot from my parents, i was definitely more well off than Yanely and those i think she is writing too.

But i loved her message, her storytelling style, and her recommendations. She kept it real and simple. If you’re a Dave Ramsay fan, this book may not be 100% for you… but Dave is more on the extreme side of financial literacy and building wealth.

This book is for anyone who grew up poor or feels extremely uneducated about all things finances.

Excellent - HIGHLY Recommend!!

Loved how she narrated this book and the content included. It was very helpful and the breakdowns provided certainly helped me understand more about investing.
