Another triumph. A charming romance with a certain underlying darkness that is realistic for many young gay men who find family and society rejection when discovered. Mike's story brought tears to my eyes and anger to my heart for his torments. Not to be missed.

Another great little vignette by Dee/Devon narrator as usual spot on
Lovely third story in the aeries. Although it can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend they are read in order to get maximum enjoyment of the characters and their partners. The one thing I regret about these books is that they were longer and this one certainly could have been, Mike had enough angst to fill quite a lot more pages not to mention the stuff that happens later... But wishful thinkings, I suppose.
And for goodness sake audible PLEASE get the four book in the series-- it is a Summer based novel I believe considering the seasonal theme of the series.

My favorite by far!
This little novela series has been my absolute favorite. I adore the healing and growing that happens with mike. I love the kindness of one family who being these lost souls together and they collective harbor and protect until they are ready to live again. My heart is full
