It's complicated

I had a hard time getting into this. Some of it was very interesting and there was a lot to keep you guessing. However, it seemed to go on too long and I got bogged down in it. I finally skipped ahead several chapters to the ending which is something I rarely do. It just wasn't for me.

Narration was fine.

Great romantic thriller!

This is my second book by this author and I love how versatile she is. The first book I read of hers was a romantic comedy, which I loved, so I was expecting something similar. But this was so different but still amazing! I loved how intricate the whole plot was and how everything was revealed.
Now I need to read the next book in the series to find out what happens next.

Not sure which is worse?

Losing your memory or regaining it, which is worse? I guess it depends on your situation. As Mia begins to remember nobody is who they appear to be. Recurring dreams & sleepwalking and a glowing tattoo. Them the memories begin to return. So many layers of stories. Downloading #2 ASAP

An outstanding edge-of-your-seat read

Memories Lost: A Thrilling Romantic Suspense (Disarray Series - Book 1), my first oh-so-enjoyable read from author Jessie Cal. Well-written with intriguing characters. 5-hours 16-minute/269-pages. Sometimes a book is just so enjoyable, so spine-tingling, so page-turning, wait no spoilers here, buy the book, read & review the book. I was given an Audible copy of this book back in May & am just getting around to listening to it. I'm voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Emma Faye’s on-the-edge=of-panic narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I can't wait for the next book Memories Restored: A Thrilling Romantic Suspense (Disarray Series - Book 2). An intriguing mix of romance and suspense

Memories Lost has been a delightful surprise. The book opens, introducing Mia, the protagonist, as a young woman suffering from amnesia. Soon, it is clear that there is much more behind her memory loss, giving life to an unusual, fast-paced storyline populated by vivid and lively characters and plenty of twists and turns. The narration keeps a balanced tone, maintains an overall lightness, and avoids excessive darkness, which is fresh and entertaining at all times. Since Memories Lost is only the first part of Mia's adventure, it closes with quite a few loose ends. The story, however, is well developed, giving the reader a satisfactory finale.

Interesting thriller

Enjoyable enough to keep going. It was long winded getting to the point and then a whirlwind of revelations, memories I guess. However it made for a good story. It was a clean romance(romance is a generous title) I am expecting the loose ends to be issues in the rest of the series, but relieved that they were not cliffhangers

poor narration

didn't even finish it due to the narration. couldn't tell what was going on between current scenes and flashbacks.
