Budgeting Guide

Managing money was one of my struggles when I was younger, and it was something that I was never taught in school. With the audiobook, I feel confident about setting achievable financial goals and creating an emergency fund. I know saving money for an emergency is essential because if something happens to me, how can I take care of myself with no backup plan? I am glad that this audiobook brought some real-life examples, so it can help me understand why it's essential to save money; also learned about credit cards, loans, and some stocks. I wouldn't say I like having a lot of credit cards because that can tempt me to spend more than I can afford. It charges you a lot of interest, and paying them back is hard. I am happy I bought this audiobook for my future reference.

This is a complete guide for young adults to better understand how to be financially independent. With the type of life we live and everything is getting expensive, the author walks us on how to pay debts, student loans and how to start saving for the future, all of this while enjoying the present.

The authors explains different topic such as managing your income, how to have a real budget tool that works for YOU, how to have a better control over your spending, and how to save for unexpected situations.

The book uses simple and easy language which makes it easy to follow and understand, but there is also a Glossary at the end of the book for some terms which I find very helpful!.

Overall, this book is good not only for young adults, but for everyone who needs to have a fresh perspective over money and being financially independent.
