I was contacted by a number of readers who wanted to inquire about what had happened to their favorite characters who first appeared in the Prepper Trilogies. I undertook the task of answering this, as a thank you to my dedicated readers, by beginning a series of Novelettes, so that the characters could give voice to their own experiences from their differing personal perspectives.

These are short little updating features that give my readers 'the rest of the story' that popular demand requested. This second book in the series finds Dump Truck and Crew at his cousin Martha`s` trying to scratch out a hardscrabble existence in the aftermath of a solar storm. Philburn and Roland finally meet Stewart and Melanie and a set of new characters is also introduced into the midst of this survival saga.

A Delightful Story

Would you consider the audio edition of Martha`s Home For Wayward Preppers to be better than the print version?

No I wouldn't say better, my imagination when reading this writer creates its own mental picture from his well crafted descriptions. I actually enjoyed the experience immensely of having read the book previously and anticipating my favorite parts coming up in the story. Even though I knew what was going to happen the narrator still kept me spell bound and his style brought about a whole new experience.

What other book might you compare Martha`s Home For Wayward Preppers to and why?

This is a tough one to answer. Ron has a knack for introducing zany characters into his writing and making you want to be a part of this big survival tribe he creates. The new characters he introduced in this book come up in the next ones and I dont want to give away any spoilers that might make folks want to jump out of sequence.

Which scene was your favorite?

Martha scolding Hop Sing not to use chicken feet as part of a dish he was going to cook.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was hilarious. Yes it was cast in a doom and gloom situation but it just goes to show you that in times of adversity people are still people and can still

Any additional comments?

It left me with Foster`s unique message of hope for us all should a catastrophe happen. Like all his books I learned some survival tips as well as had a few good belly laughs.

Prepping for disasters is not exactly a light subject, but Ron has a way of making it less scary with his fascinating characters. This book has some funny stuff in it that made it that much more enjoyable! Highly recommend it!
