But everything comes at a cost, because when you work with magic, nothing is predictable.

Every time I see Alice Winters with Gerg Boudreaux you know it's time to Panic. because your never going to get anything done!! (says the person who lessons to books and cleans at the same time)
the story. the voices, the acting you need to do- I just- it gets me man!

if you liked the first two books with wild and weird Adventures your going to love this one!!
I only wish we had a few more cute moments with our main leads, but just like most things it's too much fun to worry. but man My back hurts. some senses really got me scared, not kidding.

Magic & Mayhem

I loved the intertwining of magic, darkness, mayhem, and Menace. Hopefully there’ll be more stories to come.

Another great book in this series

I have enjoyed every book in this series and absolutely adore Greg Boudreaux’s narration of it. Read/listen to this book! You won’t regret it.

Loved the third book can’t wait to read the next chapter in miles life with his amazing boy friend.

Great narration and a funny story. This is a part of a series and definitely should be enjoyed in series order.

Delightful

Loved this book, Alice has outdone herself. I laughed out loud so many times. Greg is an awesome narrator, listening to him is always a joy to my ears!

Like OMG...

This can't be the last book, there are so many things left unknown.

Spoilers ahead

So I inhaled this series in the last couple of days. I dunno why it took me so long to read the last two books in the series but I'm kicking myself for waiting for so long.

In this one Miles and Havoc are meandering through life and they thought everything was good since Geoff was defeated. Alas, this was not the case.

Come to find out, the person Miles killed out of mercy when he was a child was not dead. She was alive and able to take magic from others and use it.

After going through so much, the end fight started when Leandra walked up to them while they had sex in the woods. Cause it's always smart to get some sexytimes when being hunted.

They of course win but then Miles has to save his friend who has black magic inside them but the only way to save her was to put that inside himself.

And that's when it ends.

Really? No follow up, no resolution to the magic? No HEAs for the rest of this motley crew?

I need more. So much more.

Greg Boudreaux did an excellent job and I was captivated throughout the story.

Binge Listen!

I just binged all three books in a row. Alice Winters is an auto-buy for me, and combined with Greg Boudreaux's narration, it makes for a fabulous listen.

I Love This Series BUT…

So far, this series is fantastic. As usual, no one spins a better fantastical tale like Alice. However, the never-ending angst-filled voice of Miles grated on my nerves to distraction in this one. There are a couple of times when it just goes on and on…for like, forever! My system almost broke…which means I had to stop listening and pick back up the following day, which is super rare for me. I pray it’s tamed a bit in the next.

Still, Greg B. is one of my hands-down favorite narrators. Except for the incessant whining during the high-stress chapters/sections - which I know is written as such - he does an excellent job here.

In spite of the unpleasant on-edge feelings I experienced for way too long at times, I enjoyed the awesome, over-the-top banter amongst all of the characters…they crack me up. Plus, all the pleasant surprises more than made up for all the anxiety (yes, in my weird mind, MENACE was a very pleasant surprise…I love that thing!). The story is well written and the dynamic between the characters makes you just want to hang out with them…minus all the near-death experiences, of course.

Read/listen to any Alice/Greg B. combo with confidence…I always do.

The story is fully realized and still leaves room for both sweet and not-so-sweet moments between the main characters.
