Resumen del Editor

Alex Larsen

Remy Duval was my high school crush and secret first kiss, but he’s also so much more. A painter, a tattoo artist, my best friend Bailey’s older brother…and Bailey’s sworn enemy. It was easier to keep my distance the past two years, but now that Bailey and I are attending Franklin University with him, I’m only drawn to Remy more. I should be loyal to my best friend and focus on classes and swim team, but the more I see Remy around campus, the harder it becomes to stay away.

Remy Duval

My brother hates me, but that’s no surprise. I’ll take the fall for ruining our family if it means doing the right thing. But as soon as my brother and his best friend show up on campus, I know I’m in trouble. Alex is all grown up, and I can’t help wanting him, especially when he’s in those tiny swim briefs that emphasize everything.

One kiss leads to more, and before we know it, we’re tumbling into secret, no-strings-attached hookups. But who knew Alex would understand me in ways few others have? And I think, just maybe, I understand him too.

I keep telling myself it’s temporary. Alex doesn’t want to disappoint his best friend, and after what my parents went through, I’m not looking to settle down. Making waves is nothing new, but the further I fall, the more I drag Alex in the deep end with me.

I love the FU series!

Remy and Alex have pined over each other while still in high school. But Remy is Alex’s best friends brother and the brothers are not on speaking terms over some family drama. I really enjoyed the story, but the tattoo artist is becoming a very overdone job. I’m glad the “jock” was a swimmer and not another football player!!!

Sweet!!

This is a really sweet story. well written and a nice addition to this series. I love Iggy Toma but, on this one he needed to do a better job on voicing different characters. it was hard to figure out who was talking at times. its still a good sweet story.

Making Waves by Christina Lee is Alex and Remy's story and the seventh book in the Franklin U series.

Remy and Alex crushed on each other when they were in high school until an incident pushed them apart. Two years later they are both at Franklin U and can't fight their attraction anymore.

Remy and Alex have a strong connection between them but have many roadblocks that keep coming between them. I loved how Alex finally stood up for himself and made Remy and Bailey hash things out.

I felt the book focused a little too much on what was happening between Remy and Bailey than Remy and Alex. Making Waves was my first book by Christina Lee. I enjoyed her writing and can see myself reading more books in the future.

Audio... Iggy Toma did another great job narrating.

4 Maple Leafs for Making Waves which contains… mm, sports (swimmer), artist, best friends brother, jock/artist, dual first-person point of view.

Another favorite FU

This was another fantastic story in the Franklin U universe. Loved the secondary characters like Bailey and Derek and of course Levi. Low angst and not between the MC always makes me happy. Remy and Alex are great together. 5 stars all around!

Genuine and Emotional!

This was one of the more emotional books in the Franklin U series and it was such a beautiful story of friendship first and foremost and then love! It’s brothers best friend, first crush, secrets, family drama, and more! I loved it. Iggy Toma did a fantastic job on the narration!

Cute story !

If you are looking for a college romance story then this is the book for you ! Bailey (the brother ) is annoying af but ... it's not intolerable .

The narrator is great but I really feel like he could adjust his tone more - especially during the tense moments and the schmexy times because it's hard to tell the difference in mood .

sweet but a bit of a stretch

I love the main characters in this one but the main conflict is a stretch. Remy deserved better the whole story long (and honestly his parents really let his brother blame him? come on, that's a bit difficult to buy) and for Alex to blame him for his brother's horrible treatment was just a big ol nope from me.

like in Playing Games, the conflict was built up to be so deep and huge that the reconciliation scene didn't feel like it was nearly enough. Bailey got off easy, Remy deserved better and Alex should have been harder on Bailey and better to Remy. Remy and Alex's love confession was sweet though.

the narrator is good, I've enjoyed him perform other books as well, but he gets a bit raspy at times and doesn't have much variety in his voices outside of one lead having a deeper/lower tone. still, he emotes well and makes it come to life, so I'll keep listening to his work.
