But I have always felt inadequate ,overwhelmed and just busy. I'm going to listen to Him more from His word. And believe that " He who began a good work will finish it until the end." I'm so glad I purchased this book.

After reading mixed reviews, I took a chance & purchased the book. I'm so glad I did. Lara's voice is calming & easy on the ears. I enjoyed listening to her story as well as the thought provoking questions she asks to make you really think about what's important. She does ask you to pause the recording & write out your thoughts as other reviewers mentioned. I listened mostly when I was driving. Some readers didn't like that, but if you're the type that likes to write out your thoughts & take action, then it's very valuable. Overall, a really good book that helps you to focus on what matters.

Life changing

This book really helped me identify some hangups in my life and replace them with healthy thought patterns and practical changes. I highly recommend to everyone, no matter what season of life you are in.

A must read or listen with audible!

I first bought Lara Casey's PowerSheets one year journal and it prompted me to listen to this book. It first started a little slow but hang in their, I promise you will love this book. I want to buy it for all my girlfriends!!

An encouraging kick-in-the-pants read to pursue your dreams

Lara shares her story, her heart and her wisdom in Make It Happen. When she opens up about how God has worked in her life, she gives readers the hope they need to change their own lives through submission to Christ. I finished the book feeling inspired, encouraged, convicted and prepared to make it happen!

Love Lara and her Story!

I love Lara's words of wisdom and I'm so glad she narrated the book herself...her voice helps deliver her message. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 bc there's also a workbook component that wasn't effective as an audiobook.

Inspiring with a very tactful approach

This book was much more than I expected. The author is also the narrator and she does a wonderful job sharing her stories of success and failures and how she personally learned to move forward. Casey really challenges you to dig at what is really down in your heart, getting at the root of your fears and hang ups. She gives you practical ways to tackle some of the most terrifying and intimidating things going on in your life and how to let God help you. She balances her action steps with scripture and offers many resources you can use (for free!) to help you get started.
This is not a book to listen to in the car because Casey intentionally makes it interactive-encouraging you to journal and write what's on your heart throughout the entire book. While I was initially a little hesitant, and quite honestly reluctant, I gave way and dove all in to Casey's lead. This process proved to be much more than I ever realized I'd signed up for. This book challenges you to clean out the junk clogging your heart from God and other important relationships in your life. Casey helps give you the action steps and encouragement you need to let go of whatever is holding you back, arming you with God's word, and giving you the direction and encouragement you need to move forward in everything God has called you to and placed on your heart.
Lara, I am very grateful you wrote this book, it found me right when I needed it. Thank you.

A lot of religion

I didn't realize how much she would go into religion and scriptures, etc. while I am not Christian, I am not afraid to talk about God. But didn't realize the extent she would go into it. Turned me off.
