Fantastic!!!

This series is just so wonderful! The Forbidden Desires Series, and now the Spin-Off series, just keep building a world I love to immerse myself in! This is Reynard's story, with his Magpie (Misha), and it was fantastic. Their relationship was quite a different dynamic than the typical dragon/omega coupling we are used to seeing but it worked on so many levels. Reynard got everything he needed from the dominant and commanding Misha, but Reynard still stepped up into his powerful dragon when he needed to defend his family. It was written so well.
Oh and how I adore Everard, he will always be my favorite Drake and he was ever present in this story and just so perfect! We actually got a nice bit of all the Drake clan throughout the story and it was done so well, it never overshadowed Reynard and Misha, but rather was woven perfectly into their story. I cannot wait to see what Beltram is up to in the next book!

The narration of this book was stellar as is everything Michael Farriaoulo does. He is spot on with distinct and separate voices for well over 10 characters, he is well paced and perfectly timed, his accent for Misha was perfect. He takes a fabulous book and elevates it into the next level!

Good listen

This is my favorite story so far in the series. I love the characters and the narration just adds that much more appeal to them. I enjoy the emotions that are expressed and the commanding tone from Misha when he loves on Reynard.

My only negative is that the voice for Bertram sounds like an imitation of Sean Connery. That is just a personal preference thing.

If you haven't read the book you should do it and know that the audiobook will be a great one to listen to.

an enjoyable story

Magpie is a Forbidden Desires spin-off story. If you enjoy the Forbidden Desires series you won't want to miss this book. This story is about Misha and Reynard. It's fun and spicy with a dominant omega who's a little bossy.
Narrator Michael Ferraiuolo does another amazing job in bringing these characters to life.

Love love loved it!!

I adored everything about this book!! I loved how Misha took control of everything and pretty much brought Reynard back to life. My only issue is the plot lines fell a little short. Misha has this unknown person/group threatening him for most of the book...the resolution was a bit lackluster. Otherwise fantastic audio!

Desperate Times

I really love the suspense that was allowed to build in the beginning of their relationship and how their bond was forged almost in the fire. I think this bonding was what really set up the way the later dramatic moment plays out and the effect that it has on Reynard. And Misha is such a strong and determined man that he doesn't accept things just because they are.
I listened to the audio version which was very well done.

My Magpie with love!

Creative and entertaining journey to bonding and forging a love match.  Loved the narration!!   I enjoyed how the narrator brought these characters to life for me!   He really added so much to the story that this will be a re-listen for sure!  

Two delightful characters find their perfect match in this really well done story for this Drake brother.  The writing was great.  The story-line was original and the pacing kept me listening and enjoying from cover to cover.  I loved seeing previous characters having cameo appearances in this story. 

Misha/Magpie and Reynard bring so much steam, sass, submission and dominance play and such an incredible connection.  I so loved the dialogue, the communication and how beautiful the love between these MC's developed.  

This is book five of the A Forbidden Desires Spin-Off series and can be read as a stand-alone.  However i really love this whole series and recommend these stories!  

Swoon worthy

I have loved every one of the books in this series and this one may be one of my favorites! Reynard and Magpie's story was so worth waiting for! I wish I could stay in their world forever. Wonderful series and this story adds so much to that world. Michael Ferraiuolo can do no wrong as a narrator and he did a lovely job here.

Loved It!

What's not to love! Misha is a snarky, take charge omega who has his sights set on Reynard. Together these two burn up the sheets! I loved the chemistry and dynamics between these two.
The story is very fast paced and will keep you glued to your kindle. I know I was!
I loved seeing previous characters having cameo appearances in this story. Michael Ferraiuolo has quickly become one of my favorite narrators. He does an amazing job bringing these characters to life. Well done and I'm looking forward to more from this world!

So good!

Although as story I prefer the previous books, this is still amazing. A switch of standard roles, a perky Russian a sub drake and an amazing Michael Ferraiuolo giving voice to all. A must to listen!

Reynard & Misha are great. I love their dynamic. It was fascinating to see even more differences between the Drake brothers.
