Enjoyed Listening

Mafia Daddy is a modern day version of the Cinderella fairy tale with a hint of daddy kink and a mafia romance all rolled into one. The story is based on the initial meeting and growing relationship between Dante, the next in line to be the head of the Mafia in Vegas and Gabriella the waitress he meets on the side of the road.
The story will hold your interest as there was a bit of everything for action, drama, angst, steamy scenes, murder and so much more.Dante was the Alpha bad boy and I really liked his characters however Gabriella acted a bit too child like and naive at times which became annoying.
I listened to the audible version of this story which was narrated by Paul D. Henry. This was my first time listening to this narrator. I loved his voice. It was a deep baritone which worked perfectly for Dante, however there was no variation in his voice for Gabriella and this made it a bit hard at times to differentiate between the two. However he did a great job with the rest of the story and I did enjoy listening.

Great book all in all... not as steamy as I thought, but good story.

Perfect Mix

I am not a massive fan of the predictability of books unless I am in the mood and boy was I in the mood for this one. I loved how this was the perfect mix of Mob/Cinderella type story with just enough action to keep me Listening.

The narrator did an excellent job in switching and read at a pace that I didn't have to put my app at 1.25 or 1.50. This for me a is a plus because I can't stand narrators that drag out the words and sentences and words.

Modern Cinderella #AudiobookObsession

Great modern twist to Cinderella. It took me a couple of chapters to get use to the narrator. The accent seemed kind of forced but I eventually got used to it. I highly recommend this book.

My favorite fairytale has always been Cinderella, so listening to this story was a no brainer. However this tale is hmmmm, so much more than what I remember from my youth. Lots of steam with intrigue and pent-up desire.
Had never heard Paul Henry narrate before, but was pleased with his performance.

 Loved this adult version of Cinderella. Dante is the Prince of Las Vegas mafia and he's no Prince charming he's a bad boy. Gabriella isn't having much luck in life, works for the family and promised her father she'd take care of her step-mother and step-sisters. She meets Dante when she's ditched by her step-sisters. Dante knows he shouldn't pull her into his life cause it's bad. So he tries to distance himself but they have this pull to each other. Can the Prince and his Cinderella find love in their crazy lives? Will they get a HEA?

Didn't like the Narrator But Read the Ebook

I'm going to take full blame for this one! I hurriedly read the blurb and title and thought it was going to be about a Mafia Prince becoming a daddy in a Cinderella type story! Noooooool.....its a mafia Cinderella Daddy Kink story🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
I just cannot do the daddy kink. Basically daddy, incest, and humiliation kinks I just cannot read. I'm sure there are more but that's what I've found. Personal preference. We all dig different things!

Otherwise, I did enjoy this take on Cinderella!! I liked Dante, but Gabriella wasn't just naive she just seemed dull-witted😳 I think it also has to do with listening to the audio. The narrator was pretty bad.

Mafia Prince meets Diner Girl

Have you ever been spanked by a mafioso? No, didn’t think so (and if you have please send details.) But you know you want to read about it.

This is an interesting mix of fairytale meets mafia romance. Not surprisingly You’ll want to throttle the wicked stepmother while easing the burden of Gabriella (our heart of gold Cinderella with a drive to please Daddy*) She is working night and day in the dinner her stepmother owns. Never really expecting more from life until enter Dante on his steed ok motorcycle.

Dante may have a playboy past and a domineering attitude but he is always princely with his Cinderella. And as the heir to a mafia empire his life is shrouded in secrets none more precious or alluring than his midnight trysts with Gabriella.

I would recommend this for fans of mafia romance, fairytales with a gritty bdsm twist and people in to daddy play.

*It should be noted that when I say daddy I don’t mean her actual father. Just like in the OG fairytale Gabriella’s father met his untimely end.

Good Read

Mafia Daddy: A Contemporary Cinderella Fairy Tale was a great read by Jane Henry. Dante is the son of a Mafia Lord in Vegas. He is the heir to that throne but he is forced to find a wife or else his father will choose one for him. He meets Gabriella but his forces him to have a ball where he will find a wife of certain means. Unfortunately she isn't right for Dante in his father's eyes. I absolutely loved reading Dante and Gabriella's story and enjoyed Paul D. Henry's narration. I can't wait to read more by Jane Henry. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer
