overall good story

This story has attention grabbing twists and turns. It has everything one would want: drama, heat, HEA. The narration was good as they had many characters to keep straight.

Reality Star, an Ex-Navy SEAL, and a bit of Taboo

Machine is a great bad boy military story. Bridger Thompson, a former Navy SEAL has been severely wounded. His fiance has dumped him for his best friend due to his inability to perform in bed. The Machine that was supposed to save his relationship with his fiance, was the only thing that remains of his battered life.

This would be where the story would have ended except, his Machine ended up on an amateur porn site, set up by his friend, with women being fulfilled sexually. His problem still remained with him. He couldn't get excited sexually.

Enter Dynassy Barnes, model and realty show star. Dynassy has to cleaned up her reputation for being caught on film, stepping over a homeless person, except the homeless person is a former veteran. The media portrayed her as being insensitive for stepping on the homeless person.

Two characters from different side of life. One secret, one manipulative parent, and the Machine could either destroy their relationship before it begins or true love will wins.

Machine is a great story. Love the that Nick and Eden made cameo appearance. Love the chemistry between Bridger and Dynassy with the taboo that is mentioned in the story. It has a bit of mystery regarding the Machine that is in the background of the story.

I love Aiden Snow and Alicyn Aimes as the duet narrators. The narratory Aiden Snow has a deep and sexy voice and could create an innocent voice for Dynassy. The narrator, Alicyn Aimes is the perfect voice for Dynassy.

I can't wait to read the next book in the Barnes Family series.

Outstanding!!! A must read!!! If I could give it 6 stars then I would!

This is a very well written book. The story is outstanding and really sucks you in. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. No spoilers in this review, sorry you will have to review it for yourself. But I think you will love every bit of it. Definitely a must read!!!!

What a Hot SEAL

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. This story contained an annoying mother, loving brothers and sister, a hot SEAL, and hot chemistry. Dynassy and Bridger's chemistry was so hot. Couldn't stop listening to this story. I loved the narrators Alicyn Aimes and Aiden Snow. Can't wait to listen to the next audio in the series

Loving the series!!!!

Machine: A Bad Boy Military Romance (Barnes Family Book 2) was so good!! I am loving this Barnes family series and Bridger makes this book extremely hot and sexy.... him and his machine.

Reality TV star Dynassy Barnes is the one you would think to be as snobby as her mother but in truth she is a sweetheart just looking for something real to come along in her life, something or someone to ground her. And Navy Seal Bridger Thompson seems to do just that. However with both of them keeping secrets or using each other for different reasons who knows if these two will actually make it.

The narration for Machine is absolutely wonderful. I just love Aiden Snow and Alicyn Aires. They really bring the story to life.

Overall I loved this book and this family. Definitely on my recommend list.

dual appeal Aiden and Alicyn makes it happen

The narration of this book was what was the perfect extra for me. Aiden Snow and Alicyn Aimes gave this the dual narration that let you see and feel it all from that one POV being portrayed. The story had added elements that made you want to have more from Dynassy. She was Americas Sweetheart until she wasn't. The manipulations by her mother and the step further into doing something to change public opinion changes the course of her life. Aiden and Alicyn shows with their voices the depth of emotion, turmoil, freedom, realization and more that takes place between Dynassy and Bridger.

Opposite attracts

Fun book where 2 people see each other and not their social status. Opposites really do attract in this book.

My Two Pennies

Aiden Snow and Alicyn Aimes are a great working duo. They both have the characters filled with passion and emotion, I never wanted to hit pause. When I read the blurb I was curious to this story, who wouldn’t be interested to see what happens to the reality star crosses paths with a former Seal. There’s SO much more and I was pulled in within the first few chapters, it’s like we’re given a story within a story and that is exactly what kept me going. I adore the Barnes family, they’re so close with one another and the siblings are a strong support system. Dynassy is a woman that cares for those around her but will also stand up for what she wants. Hearing Bridger’s story was one that I can honestly say I haven’t come across before and learning the emotional toll it took on him and his life broke my heart. This is a wonderful read and yes it is a standalone but there’s no way you’ll not want to read each one of the family’s books and get to know them on a deeper level. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Sexy story with substance

This was an audible read, I've not got much time to read on a kindle or paperback lately so I thought I'd try an audible.
Now I've had a lot of misses with narrated books, as some voices either lose me or send me to sleep.
BUT this was one of the good ones, the two narrators were easy to listen to and they hooked me into the story so much I basically listened to 89%of the book yesterday. Sunday was spent doing chores while my imagination disappeared into Dynassy (weird name, I was glad that it was an audible read so I knew how to pronounce it) and Bridger's (another unusual name) story.
At the beginning of the story I thought that this was going to be a full on erotica story, but in actual fact it was a a really good relationship story based around the sexual attraction, but the act was much later in the story... Now I can't divulge why it is a slow burn, and it's definitely a erotica book, it's just one of those few books where there's an actual story rather than sexual acts described in scenarios. Thank goodness as I'm not really interested in listening or reading porn 😉
I've really enjoyed the book. And I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a sexy narrated book with substance.
I couldn't help compare the Barnes Family to the Kardashians tho, not that I actually watch reality TV... I'm a sci-fi girl through and through and I am going check out the other books soon.

Interesting story

This story was filled with several plot twist. Bridger has an injury and a secret life. By day he is a mechanic by night he is well you will have to listen to find out. It is a surprise. His sassy heroine is really funny but makes him come out of his life and into the daylight. The machine he has invented tells the whole story. Lots of sex so be prepared. Both narrators moved the story along and the secondary characters ally made the story. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.
