Excellent Introduction to MS

A family member was just diagnosed with MS. I could have spent hours researching the disease online, but I am really glad I chose this book instead. The author clearly is an expert and experienced in dealing with questions from patients and family members. Best of all, her narration sounds like Michelle Obama in Becoming, which has to be the best possible way to hear devastating information.

Everyone involved with this illness should check this out. Listen as a family....this book answers those questions

Made a dismissal outlook on my diagnosis

Did not help me feel good about the future of having MS, went over all the problems it will cause and recalling making no hope in anything with MS

Excellent Intro to Basics

This short book did a great job explaining MS, treatments, and what life can be like with the disease. It was very helpful for a newly diagnosed MS sufferer to learn more things that I'd kind of read on the internet but were more easily understood the way this doctor explained.

Great initial overview of what is MS

This is a must for someone newly diagnosed and a good listen for their family and friends.

MS understanding given in a simple way

The articulation of the author was great and keeps you interested in a topic that is boring to most. This book gives you a core understanding of MS and how it effects the person with it.

Dr. Mitzi was my Nuerologist. She is as good in practice as she is in the book.

This was an amazing book and this Dr is absolutely amazing! She is so knowledgeable and easy to understand. As a 33 year old Black woman who was just diagnosed with MS after being completely normal, this book has been a Saving Grace! it's so easily digestible but still chalk full of valuable information. I've now shared it with my parents. I'm so thankful to have come across this awesome find and thankful for you Dr Williams!

Good info

This has a lot of good info but is pretty basic and not precise enough to talk about my MS on any deep level.
