Laughed Like Crazy

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in all my life! A perfect combo of romance and comedy set to music! I have listened to this audio book several times already and laugh even harder each time. My husband who usually hogs the TV remote tossed it aside to listen to this with me one evening and he even enjoyed it. The characters and story line were just amazing!

Funny Exaggerated Romance Tropes

This musical story covered a wide variety of romance tropes/stereotypes.
It will have you laughing out loud at times with things such as gum wrappers being tripping hazards and clumsiness being a reason to avoid math and that’s just to name a couple.
The narration, music, and singing added to the humor.

Truly original

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this clever and hilarious gem I stumbled upon. Highly recommend!!!

Entertaning

My first thought when I finished listening to this audio book was, "Oh, my God! What did I just listen to?"

This book is absolutely bonkers. It's over the top. It's ridiculous. It makes fun of every trope and stereotype in romance novels. And I absolutely loved it.

The songs are creative and unique. The plot itself is beyond cliché and campy. This is definitely one entertaining audio book, that's for sure.

My favorite line in the book was probably, "He wears a condom 24/7 because he wants everyone around him to feel safe." Or something along those lines. I laughed so hard at that. I even told my husband, and he laughed and said it was actually pretty genius. Men, I tell ya.

If you're a fan of romances featuring shifters, billionaires, MMA fighters, "alpha" males, a silly/clumsy/innocent woman, a neglected friend, step-siblings, or anything else under the romance trope/stereotype umbrella, you'll find it here in Lustily Ever After.

The narration is crisp and clear and easy to understand. The songs are amusing and sung with gusto. There are definitely some talented people involved with this book.

I'm giving it 4 stars.

This delightful book is a brilliant parody of romance novels and erotica with hilarious songs. The jokes and performance had me laughing out loud, while at the same time being sucked into the story. Super fun and unique audio book!

For fans of romance, a hilarious spin on the genre

Bentley captures the many recognizable and often-times hilarious tropes of the romance novel genre. From impossibility perfect men with unbelievable portfolios to the secondary friend character who only serves to encourage our heroine to follow her desires, the author encapsulates all the indulgent silliness that makes these books so hard to put down. And then the whole thing also happens to be a delightful musical!

A Must Listen!!

Lustily Ever After is a must listen!! From the incredible vocals to the hilarious and talented writing, it kept me captivated the entire time. I listened to it all in one sitting, I couldn't turn it off! I found myself chuckling through each chapter, singing along to the songs, and wondering where it was going to go next. I can't wait for the sequel!!

Original and so entertaining

If The Naked Gun films, Saturday Night Live (think Jimmy Fallon), and MTV 90s pop stars (think Britney Spears) had an orgy and a baby, then Lustily Ever After would be their lovechild. Lustily is an absurd romance story in the best possible way - a fun listen and great escape from the seriousness of current events.

So much fun!

I recommend this book for anyone who wants to escape from reality for a while and get immersed in a fun musical experience. Love this book! It’s hilarious and I loved the music! It’s a great combo of romance, comedy and music. You won’t be disappointed!
