While Hannah works to move on from Martin, he begins to miss the easy friendship that once existed between them and is determined to earn it back. As they both enter the marriage mart, Martin watches as Hannah transforms right before his very eyes, and he begins to develop real, pesky feelings for her. He soon comes to realize that he must face the risk of revealing his true feelings or lose the woman he's discovered he cannot live without. But will his realization come too late?
As the third novel in this series by author Laura Beers, this story continues the Proper Regency Matchmakers series. This is a light-hearted series set in the Regency period.

Read not Performed
So glad I could return this book because I forgot to listen to the sample and did not remember from other Beers books the performer is TERRIBLE——ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENT CHARACTER VOICES. May be a good actor but NOT audiobook performer. It’s like clicking the speak app on a book or document. It ruined what could be a good story if one could continue to listen.
