What I liked/Didn’t Like about the narration: Bethany Pearson's narration was perfect for this story and easy to listen to

What I liked/Didn’t Like about the book: Malik and Jude's story was fun and easy to get into. Both are attorneys one is a Defense Attorney the other is a prosecutor. On opposite sides of the court system, they fight their attraction but their dogs know exactly what they want.

Adversaries to lovers...

Jude and Malik first meet as adversaries in the courtroom. There is acrimony even as Jude and Malik feel a frisson of attraction. Their dogs and their match making mothers help foster the burgeoning relationship along. The story deals with some real world issues that impact their journey to love.
The narration was decent, though the narrator's attempts at accents at times were somewhat incongruous to the character. Overall, an entertaining story.

Love this book

This book is so much fun to listen too. Jude and her dog are so cute. You just want to hug them. This is the type of book you want to read when you have a bad day and it makes you happy by the end of the book. The characters are interesting and fun. Sue Ann you just fall in love with her.

Excellent Story & Narration

Jude fights for justice in the courtroom. While Malik May hate his job, he still is a force in the courtroom. In the courtroom they can not agree on anything. They have meddling mothers and adorable pups to help change their opposition outside the courtroom.
Good plot mixing the dogs in love, and now see what happens with the owners. Adorable story one loves to read of how love comes into their lives.
Audio added to these two characters and the fierceness they had in and then out of the courtroom by Bethany the narrator Enjoyed. Given audio for my voluntary review

Short and angsty

Two lawyers one defence and one prosecutor.
Obviously there’s a lot of tension especially when facing each other.

Audio was good I think the narrator fit the books feel. The adorable dogs know what they want. Sometimes animals are the more supreme beings 🤣
