Lost Library brings together a mysterious, magical book and a quirky heroine to create the adventure of a lifetime!
John Braxton arrives unannounced on Lizzie Smith's doorstep looking for answers she doesn't have. She may have a magical book, but she hasn't a clue what to do with it - or even how to read it. And John's revelation that he's a Lycan isn't making the job any easier.
Before the code to the book can be cracked, Lizzie and John stumble into the middle of a power-hungry mastermind's plan. Caught up in one man's search for power, Lizzie soon begins to uncover surprising secrets about her past and powers. Can she and John put a stop to their new-found enemy's plans?
Take a romp through the life of the quirky and well-meaning Lizzie as she discovers magic, creatures that go bump in the night, and maybe love.

Any additional comments?
I love reading this series and the audio version doesn't disappoint either. This story has mystery, romance, magic , Lycans, plucky women and hot sexy guys...what's not to like! This is the beginning of the series that still has a satisfying ending and yet leaves you wanting to know more about all the characters.Lizzie is a great heroine, not perfect, but real and so endearing and funny. John is drool worthy and trying hard to be honest with her without scaring her and letting her know how much he wants her for himself. And the other characters are just a great mix of humor, sexy ness, loyalty and friendship. The Lost Library was a good read and is an enjoyable audio book. Kelly does a great job as narrator and both sounds like and has the attitude I thought Lizzie would have.IThis is a different look at Lycans...not wrewolfs...... and magic...and one I thoroughly enjoyed.I did receive a copy of this book for an Honest review.Magic

Interesting and different. Good characters but they need more depth to my way of thinking. Worth investigating. I found it on sale with the audio at a bargain price narrated by Catherine G Cobb who does the perky very well.
Good story, better narrator

Shortly after, Lizzie is kidnapped by a group of Lycan from the Idaho territory. As John tried to save Lizzie, there is an unknown European party involved. It is no longer a lycan politics but facing an enemy who is interested in seeking power at any cost.
As I was listening to the audiobook, Lizzie lived in a very simplified world until the magical book and John showed up at her door. Lizzie is attracted to John but she has reservation in being involved with him. As Lizzie gets more and more deeper into John's world and that the fact she can't get away from her kidnappers, Lizzie realized that she has been missing her life.
Lizzie also discovered that there are parts of her life hidden by her parents. The story is about Lizzie rediscover her past and finding out that she has been living inside the box instead of taking chances. I like this part because Lizzie is maturing in the story from a timid individual to learning who she really is.
The narrator, Kelsey Osborne provides an innocence to Lizzie. Lizzie's occupation as a computer webmaster, keep Lizzie inadept socially. Kelsey makes John sound more worldly and a very capable alpha-pack leader of the Texas. Kelsey makes Max (although he is human) more of a beta and Kenna, a bubbly companion who tried to encourage Lizzie to go out into the word a lot more.
I was given this audiobook by the author in exchange of an honest review. I was not compensated or influence in writing this review.
