I couldn't have been more happy with this book. It is a great challenge to think about our attitudes. No matter who you are, you NEED to read this great book!

Out with the bad in with the good

I found this book to be very helpful. It pointed out bad habits and suggested good habits to replace them. The examples were scripturally sound. Highly recommend this book.

Wow he really makes you take a look at yourself.

Macdonald is a great evangelist. His studies really bring you closer to God in a realistic way.

biblical integration into content

The end of chapter prayer ques is a nice touch. It adds to the importance of prayer in our everyday lives.

Challenging, Eye Opening and Convicting

This is a great study . . . we are doing in in our adult Sunday School class . . . and I am finding it is hitting me right between the eyes . . . and often . . . I thought I knew where I was in my walk with the Lord . . . but so many of my regular thoughts and attitudes are absolutely WRONG . . . and not pleasing to the Lord . . . and I have caught myself out wandering in the desert . . . and wondering why and where God went . . . when I am the one who has chosen the wrong path . . . yes, I have trust issues . . . I am strong willed . . . and I chose MY OWN way . . . and God cannot bless that . . . and my BIGGEST problem in trusting God is with my children . . . who are grown adults . . . I give them to Him . . . and then, by golly, I snatch them back, as if I can do better than God . . . so I am placing them before Him and letting fear enter in . . . I probably need to listen to this book over and over, because the voices in this world tell us the complete opposite of what our attitude towards God should be . . . our egos and pride get in the way of our relationship with God . . . this book and the study we are doing together at church are blessing me and my husband . . . you can't go wrong listening to it . . . God Bless you in your journey with Jesus . . .
