Wow...

lots of great features: the continuation of the Firekeeper's stories; Daunis's story (sp? on her character's name) Jaime, and Native American culture.
I can't get enough of this series although
Sisters In The Wind is a very different aspect and possibly less entertaining for longer periods yet it still packs a serious punch as one moves through the story featuring one young girl's life as a foster child. and lack of connection to her Ojibwa family.
Still giving this a thumbs up just gotta be a bit more patient because the drama builds more slowly.

Love anything about Native American traditions . This book was dripping with all things Native American.

Protect our indigenous children

This book tells a great story of what can happen when a Native American child is placed in a system even though they have family searching for them. This books talking about ICWA, protecting our culture and children because they are our future.

Loved it!

I love Angeline Boulley stories and this fictional world she’s created is exceptional. I love the way this (and the others) are narrated. So well done.

Best Kind of Heartbreak

Lucy’s story was powerful, fresh and honest in ways both heartbreaking and hope affirming. I was wowed by the way the author wove connections to other characters including those from her others books. The last 45 minutes was a steady stream of tears for me - the unforeseen loss as well as joy.

Compelling characters and a story that needs told.

As always I love the indigenous heritage and language Boulley incorporates in her books. This one had so many great twists.
