Robert Becks' ability to take you inside the life of his characters in the story is amazing. This book is part two of White Folks.

A stunning and unflinching view of the con game and the underbelly of polite society. A great book for anyone interested a more earthy gangster tale.

Just So So

Just So So. This story was just so so. Nothing to write home about this.

The actually race

This book was very good because it explorers the concept of race and the way it affects your outlook in life. The character path was developed due to his physical appearance as a white man but yet not excepted because he was black . Limited the opportunities limited direction.

Completely exciting

Never a boring moment I loved all of it. Very well written. This could be somebody's reality.

Were the 1970s actually this violent?

White Folks' story is fascinating. You will binge this book. The scams are complex! Enjoy.

Disappointed

I read the complete series. Long White Con was difficult to follow and ends very abruptly.
