Another Perspective

I enjoyed book two of the "Alpha Underground" series more than the first one. Fen struggled with the decision as to whether she should seek out her mother or not. I liked Fen more in this story than the first book. Fen went through a lot of emotional development which helped her to grow as a character. There were some surprising happenstances. I liked a new character who was introduced. I liked that Fen's romance blossomed. Angel Clark's narration was great, and her performance added to my enjoyment of the story. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review which included my opinions.

Strong characters!

I love a good story well narrated and full of adventure, lots of suspense,and a whole lot of stubbornness!

What an awesome book!!

Can she save her mother and the bloodling? Can she stop the stalker and tell her mate she lo we him? So many questions and so many ways it could all go wrong. You will love this book!!!

Love and Strength in Big and Small Pieces

I love the world built in this book series. I enjoy, and even love, the characters with all their strengths, faults, spirit, spite, bite and other quirky personality traits. Fen has faults and stumbles a bit but she is FULL of fight and spirit. I really love this perfectly imperfect character.

Is she really a lone wolf?

I enjoyed book one and was curious to see where book 2 took me. Hunter is gone but in his place is a car with the GPS set for her mother’s house. But will Fen go to her mother? Fen also finds herself in cuffs and being tailed by someone. Hunter may have to face down the man who helped raise him, and will the pack come back to Fen??? These are just some of the many things that we face in this story and I loved the ending of the book but I don’t think that it is going to be all smooth sailing ahead so bring on book 3.
As usual the right narrator helps with an audio book and Ms Easterling certainly chose well with Angel Clark.

Great continuation of story

I very much enjoy this author and the characters that live in her books. Sorry but I do not like this narrator her vice to high and shrill for my ears. Hope author goes with a different narrator for the next book.

Even better than the first one

This review is from my reading of the ebook. I got a copy of the audio book from the author and listened to it about 4 years after initially reading it. I still thought it was a great book, heck, I only remembered bits and pieces of it so it was like a whole new book.

I loved this book. I liked the first one, but this one was fantastic. I loved Celia and how she did her best to let Fen know she was sorry for how she acted towards her as a child. I also loved that Fen has started to trust not only her wolf, but Hunter.
This book was a great sequel and you will love it. Her old pack members show up and a few more wolves will join her family. there will be some hairy moments and Fen will find a home for her pack. I can't wait for the next one. I can't believe there will only be one more. There seems to be so many potential stories to tell of Ginger and her girlfriend and maybe Cinnamon can find a girl? How about Lia? Will she grow with her wolf and find a mate? How will Hunter be as a father? So many stories to tell.

I loved the twist and turns and surprises throughout the book.
The characters are entertaining and the story was better then the first book.
There was not as much immaturity and whining which I was happy about.
I am looking forward to the next book.

A Great Series

After I finished listening to this book, I just wanted more. The characters are developing with each new book. I found the plot to be very interesting and it move along at a fast pace, and too soon the book was finished. I'm looking forward to seeing what is in the future for Fen and Hunter as they lead this pack of misfits.
