This book gives you a capacious amount of Logical Fallacies and how to debunk them. I liked it a lot..

Beneficial to high school or college kids.

Nothing new here for experienced persons. It all seemed like common sense (which is not common enough) but you never know when you'll learn something from a different point if view but still good for high school kids.

Fascinating read.

Taken right out of current discourse the book reveals many of the tricks of the political trade. A must read for everyone.

Might make life easier.

Not only have I used the book to construct better arguments, I have been able to defend myself better (no more successfully) against my wife and her use of Facebook references for her base data.

3 hrs and 9 mins, simple, and to the point. Outlines basic arguments and fallacies. This should be required reading beyond the age limits.

Clear, concise thinking.

This great audible contains enough text to get the point across, but not so much that it becomes tedious. Teaches how to think correctly. Well done.

Overall, it's an OK addition

here are several fallacies discussed but many not present. There are many other books out there with a more comprehensive coverage. (3) The author has very strong leftist political beliefs, and they color many of the 'examples' he gives. If he teaches or debates the way he chooses his examples, he would be an easy opponent to defeat. Much of the material is fine, but when it comes to examples, the author shows that he seems to have some grasp of logic but chooses not to apply it himself to his own thought process.

I've read many; this is the best.

Excellent, in many ways. Helped me recall things I studied many years ago in Philosophy, where my thrust was in logic. Would recommend this for anyone.
