Skipped Paragraphs

I like the book and have been listening when I m driving. I do have the hard copy and tonight I read while playing the audiobook, the narration skipped so many paragraphs just on chapter 4. Didn’t know about the previous chapters but I think I m going to read again, feel like I missed lots of information in the book. And honestly makes me wonder if all the audibles are like this?

Eh, not much new to learn here.

A lot of basic concepts that could be summed up in a blog post instead of a book. Elaborating on these concepts were not necessarily helpful, and felt drawn out if anything.

It would be better off reading how to win friends and influence people, which will affect your conversations entirely if adopted.

Highly recommend

I like how this book was conveyed. Also very informative. Recommend to people who want enhance social interactions.

Some Good Insights

There were some good, specific insights here. But it could have benefited from better editing and precision of concepts and language and examples.

A little bit forgettable

There are a lot of good tips and tricks that I remember in my day to day, but the narrator made it a hassle to finish it.

Although a bit disappointing as most of the content is intuitive, not as useful as the high reviews would suggest.

Robotic narrator

Mediocre content but what kills the experience is a narrator who speaks in a monotone. Initially I truly that it was a computer generated voice. Worse still, the narrator then instructs us to expand our vocal range!

Get the upper hand

Pure information. Listening to this book renews what you may already know, offers you new skills, and reviews how to apply the information and skills! Will listen a second time to enforce and reinforce information and skills.

Not a lot of new information but still helpful in certain situations…..a good book for newbie’s
