With a rotating cast of lovably insufferable friends, from Emma's fabulous DJ and ladies’ man roommate to Clem's painfully ordinary and predictable childhood chum, the girls wind their way through the twists and turns of aging parents and terrible bosses and regrettable one night stands, unforeseen setbacks and blessings that present as anything but, and remind each other that while their ships might not have come in yet, the after work drinks are cold and the company can’t be beat.

Cute story about female friendship

There's no real beginning or end to this book; however, it takes the reader through ups and downs of a twenty-something trying to figure out her career and her relationships. The book is focused on two characters, but brings in their relationships with the rest of the "cast". It lays out the real struggles of trying to figure out what you want to do with your life after graduating from college, and how difficult it can be to land that life-altering, career-launching gig. The book also shows how it is to date in your twenties and how it is to be heartbroken. Overall, I highly enjoyed this book and wonder what's next for the girls.
