the narrators were excellent and the love story was really sweet and shows how love really does conquer all. would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Good book but the end

Good book but these ends are pissing a girl off. Come on now. I needs to know what happens. Going crazy.

Love this series

Love the voices, the story line and hiw Jah and Antonia are trying to keep it together but the world just keeps kicking their butts. I am rooting for them but Redmon and that auntie can go and sucks on a frog's behind. Karma can't come soon enough.

Great Book

This is definitely one of my favorite books now. I love the way the characters evolve and the story develops. Antonia has been through so much at such a young age and it is really good to watch her grow up and become a strong woman.

Amazing!

I have finished the first and second book in a week. I am myself a survivor of abuse, recently recovered. Both books helped me relate to my own traumas without getting triggered. First time I have listened to something ‘healing’, while feeling entertained at the same time. I think it might be related to how the story is told. Well done, Diamond Johnson! And thank you for demonstrating ways to find peace without having to shut out ‘the realities of life’ from our ‘healing narratives’.

This story keeps getting better

Part 2 was definitely a better read. It's funny Antonia's charter is very relatable, almost to the point I was made. She was so weak in the first book. We always love the underdog, so her come back, strength, and resilience in book 2 are everything. I can't wait to read book 3. New fan audible recommended Your book. I'm glad I purchased it.

Reality, a story like this goes on in real life.

I love it. Great story, good narrator, you’ll be surprised what goes on in people’s home behind closed door. This story will have you thinking keep your kids safe.

Where is part 3

I love this series and I am looking forward to more audible books from this author.
