Best book in the series so far

I really enjoyed this one. It took a little while for the momentum to pick up as there are lots of moving parts of the story but it turned into a thoroughly enjoyable and compelling thriller. Rios has become a fully fleshed out character.

The continued bigotry that exist within our society.

I have been fighting this bigotry of my entire life, I am 64 years old. And nothing has changed. And now because of our political situation, the fight has come to a combination. And I am frightened.

This series is an important read for all. We get to know the plight of others we might not ever see.

Never Disappoints

Always smart, touching, engaging and sexy. Michael Nava's Henry Rios is a hero for our time. He's very believably human and his is the kind of rare courage that you can, if you're lucky, encounter in this life. So glad Nava has decided to continue the Henry Rios story. And you learn a lot about the law and how it really plays out in the courts!
