Not much of a reader

But I have read this 3x. Love the humor and character development. Well done HJ Tolson.

Never left lacking

I really enjoyed the story it was wonderful to fallow along and I never felt bored with the story.

Every Bit as Good as the First

Maude is still wonderful and it is still a pleasure to cheer her on in her undead adventures. If you enjoyed the first book, you will love this one as well. I'm now anxiously awaiting the third in the series.

the sequel is just as good as the first book for a continuation! the characters are more numerous, the battles more extreme, and I just adore Maude. I hope to see a third book soon! :)

Pretty good for what it is

It turned out better than expected. Some parts took me a bit to get through. The narrator does an excellent job too.

Less early D&D leveling, less b*stard, more fun

The MC is less outwardly evil, starting to grow a heart and become more interesting than just a typical evil lich that happens to knit sweaters. I enjoyed it more than the first. Ig someone told the author their character was hard to like and they turned her around. We also get more power fantasy fun, and some real stakes!

Darkly enjoyable.

Maud continues to be very charming in her own unique and yet weirdly relatable fashion.
I enjoy her continued adventure with the backdrop of an epic plot she seems to only be barely aware of.
Exciting, funny, endearing and with a lot of macabre and dark humour.

I enjoy the story but audio quality is a issue. it's not a huge issue but still sounds bad.
