Excellent Story with Great Ontario References

This was a lovely story, and I absolutely loved all the references to places, names and events in Ontario, Canada. My only quibble would be with the narrator who read Emily’s part… I believe perhaps the style was intentional but it didn’t work for me. Listening to her took me out of the story quite a bit. Otherwise, great book!

I give this 3.5 stars... Really a good story worth reading... and shocking that it is based on truth.

sad to listen to. the story was excellent but hard to listen to and comprehend. I cried a lot while listening, so just a warning, it's a tear jerker. And often also infuriating.

Surprised

Excellent story, well written and completely unknown to me. Women suffered horribly, this story helps to see how far society has come, yet the distance still needed. A must read.
