Fantastic writing gripping story!!
Loved the pacing, deep main characters. The foreboding tenor, and great setting in North Dakota and Montana. Gripping descriptions of life in the hard country. Fascinating how the melancholy and sadness of the main characters keep them moving the story forward in their attempt to heal the devastating loss of the past with one hope for the future . Some creepy antagonists get in the way change everything, but some twists lead to a great ending! I look forward to reading more from this author!

this was one of the best books I have read, the story was good. the characters were good the narrators were great, I reccomend this book for most anyone. I wish I knew more about the daughter in law. i will read it again later.

Loved this book
If you are looking for a book that you don’t want to end this is it. The Hubby and I normally when traveling will listen to a book. This book we listened to both at home and while traveling. The first ever. I always miss the Characters when I finish a book. Enjoy
