I have not finished yet but I am loving it!
I have not finished but I am at chapter 4.
What is already striking me as unique is that the author has literally researched a black person's point of view and have translated the Accurate point of view through the storyline.
How wonderful is that!
So I am looking forward to finishing this wonderful story and going on this adventure with AYANA.
I just wanted to drop a line to say that this is fantastic already because of the representation.

Love the leading African American woman
Great storyline, and the narrators' performance was excellent. I am always wary about male voices performing women characters. However, the best part of this book was the strong African American character. I wish more of these types of books would feature strong Black characters, as well as sexy voluptuous “BI-POC” women. I laughed when the reference on how we as black women feel about our hair and water. I hope this continues. Aliens are not white and are not always attracted to blonds or gingers. Great Job!!!

Right kind of romance
Romance that I like - where erotica is not being substituted for romance. There’s plenty of adventure, action and storyline with some erotica to add spice. According to the Internet, it looks like this book was written before book one in the series (if I interpret that correctly) but I understand why this is in the book 2 position. Raven is grown up now. Also it indicates that there are a total of eight books in the series so I’m hoping that Audible will eventually have them all. Mr. Black does an excellent job as narrator.

Loving the series
I enjoyed reading another story about a Black female main character. This series had become my favorite. I love the mind speak and complicated DNA sequences of the warriors.
