Resumen del Editor

Storytelling is an ancient form of communication that still resonates today. An engaging story told and retold shares a meaningful message that can be passed down through the generations. Take fables such as The Boy Who Cried Wolf or The Tortoise and the Hare, who hasn’t learned a thing or two from these ancient tales? Legends of the Masters retools Aesop’s lesser-known fables, reimagining them to meet the needs and interests of modern martial artists. Reflecting upon the wisdom of yesteryear in this new light will surely bring value for practitioners of the arts today.

Kris Wilder was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2018. He holds black belt rankings in karate, judo, and taekwondo, conducting seminars across the United States, Canada, and Europe. A nationally board-certified life coach and prolific author, Kris has lectured at Washington State University, Susquehanna University, and served as club advisor for the Eastern Washington University Karate Club. He has also been interviewed by CNN, FOX, The Huffington Post, Thrillist, Nickelodeon, The Howard Stern Show, and more.

Lawrence Kane was inducted into SIG Sourcing Supernova Hall of Fame in 2018 for pioneering leadership in strategic sourcing and procurement. He has been studying and teaching martial arts since 1970, often putting what he learned into action while working stadium security part time. A best-selling author, he has been interviewed by FOX, The Jim Bohannon Show, Computerworld, Forbes, Art of Procurement, Negotiations Ninja podcast, Police Magazine, and more.
