Start Very Slowly

This bookstarted so slow I nearly stopped listening to it. I did not like or enjoyed the characters till I was over halfway through.
This is about several characters who's stories eventually intertwine. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

Fantastic Story!

This is an awesome story! I can hardly wait to get at the next installment.

Great Narrator and decent story

I was given this Audiobook to give an honest review.

I feel Nigel is a great Narrator without question. The performance is fantastic.

Only problem is that the story didn't keep my attention. It has an interesting take from Mythology that does make for a decent story but, as I just stated I'd lose interest, thus the 3 star review of the story. Not that the story is poorly written, I just found myself drifting to other Audiobook and then coming back to this one.

Great Book and Performance

Both the book Legacy and the Audio Performer were excellent. Keep my interest the hold time. Finished this book in two days. I followed the Audio Performer while reading along in the Book. He read every word - line for line in the books. His voice did not put me to sleep and keep my interested in the story. The Book Legacy is also an excellent book. Reminded me of the old days theater "Movie Cliff Hangers". This book is a great opening, because it introduces most of the main Characters for the series. I also recommend reading the entire "Legacy" series.

Awesome Narrator!

My husband and I listened to this book together. He is more of a fantasy fan than I. However, Nigel Peever’s narration was so amazing it kept me totally engaged.
Great all around!

Sit Back and Enjoy

I always love this narrator and he did a great job with this one as well.
Great characters in this makes it an easy listen.

Not sure what this was supposed to be...

The story is poorly written the characters need to be developed through their actions instead of through dictation of the narrator. Plot is full of multiple mcguffins and Mary Sue's, The store jumps around from place to place the place frequently but rarely bothers to establish itself in any place. Also not sure why this is a steampunk story story there seems to be more magic and mysticism than even mention of steam punk. overall I think it should have been re-read by author before publishing as I doubt their plot points came of as intended or logically sensible. I have a hard time believing proper due diligence was paid here.
