Are you looking for the best way to learn French? Well, look no further. This book is, simply put, the best on the market for learning French. Why do I say that? Because this book does what language books should do - teach you the mechanics of the language, not a bunch of tourist trap phrases that you'll forget the second you leave the country.

If books don't do that, then they make the critical mistake of going into far too much detail and boring you half to death spending a lot of time going on about three different kinds of articles. I don't do that either.

Got practical explanations

The practical explanations as you go through this are great. I felt that at sometimes I did not have enough time to think and repeat the phrase on occasion. Format is good for conversational French.

Provided many methods of learning a new language

I have tried many methods of learning a new language and this is by far the best audio way. I was speaking and understanding some basic French in a week!

Best French language instruction on the market! I just wish he would come out with a Level 4 and 5.

Very effective ideas

My favorite part was that the narrator is clearly a native French speaker. He really adds the cultural effect to the language learning process. They go through so many different words and phrases with you. It is very in-depth and truly a great way to learn. I definitely would recommend this audio book.

This is a better book for people who already understand French. It's a good refresher course.

Practical and simple way to learn

This book is a great for beginners! I like that it offers how you would pronounce the French words. This book is good if you plan to travel there and want basic statements or questions for traveling in reference to hotels, driving, and etc.I am a new French student looking for a practical and simple way to learn French.

Great introduction to French!

After finishing the first set and this one, I need a review of them before jumping into the 3rd. But very good and a fun introduction to French!

Excellent resource

This book is well organize and a excellent resource to students and anyone that is interested in learning french. I took one semester of French in high school. That was over twenty years ago. I always wanted to start learning it again. This book makes it simple and easy to learn.

I've tried French before with other methods, but never with one as effective as this. Even for me, a non native English speaker, I have been able to follow perfectly the pace of the course, with the constant satisfaction of really learning, not memorizing and always eager to learn more.
