As with the first two, the audio for this was chefs kiss and the only thing that would make it better at this point is there were a graphic audio version!

Alana and Mav finally get a moment of peace — a glimpse of what could’ve been, and what still could be — and then it’s ripped away in a brutal way.

JD broke me. His heartbreak, the way he spirals… (I’ve already said it: we really should protect him at all costs.)

And Reid finally lets himself in — into this unconventional relations

I like the way the whole “why choose” is actually written: it’s not messy for the sake of drama or rushed, it just makes sense with everything they’ve been through.
Every character is fighting their own battle.
I know that to some, the way Alana deals with s*x is too much but when you know nothing else and when it’s the only way to regain the power, it makes sense.

Just when you think there’s hope… BOOM. 10/10 gut-punch.

Not even an ending

Cliffhanger!! it just stops🤦. As in the the other books, there's a Ton of sex. The story didn't really get anywhere, but they have a TON of sex 🤷. The narration is Outstanding Perfection. The books are worth listening to just for the narration. I'm certainly curious as to how this story will end. Tracy Lorraine can sure write a sex scene.👏❤🔥

from the cast to the writing I cannot love this series more. I have now listened to it 3 times. I'm probably gonna have to buy the last book because I need to know how this ends! the performance makes it so much better though so please please hurry up!

Cliffhanger...

No one would be surprised to know that this book ends on a cliffhanger like the previous. The narration is so good! The story is also good. Plenty of Spice. I'm bummed that the last book isn't available in audiobook form yet. I will be reading the last book and I'm so excited to see how they take down the baddies.

Scintillating, Suspenseful, Sensual

I love the story. This is the first series I've read by this author but it won't be the last. So impressed with the character development. It would be easy to focus on the sex (there's a lot of it), but she has made me care about these flawed yet loveable characters. The narrators are excellent!! They bring this story of love and friendship under the most difficult circumstances to life. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

it should not take four books to get to the end. I am so disappointed. The action scenes on point. Sex scenes are on point but I fill like the author just going on and on.
