a well deserved HEA

so much heart break but also so much love! Silas and Lola's story will break your heart into a million pieces then put it back together again. such a great couple to end the Twisted Fox series with.

Great read & listen!

What a roller coaster ride of emotions! I so happy to finally have Silas & Lola’s story. Their road was definitely a bumpy one, but I enjoyed every second of it. I switched back & forth from reading to listening & the narrators were spot on with the characters and emotions!

Amazing book!

Teddy and Virginia do an absolutely AMAZING job bringing Silas and Lola to life! This story is so full of emotion, and they bring it in this book! I love when audio enhances a book, and Last Round is a perfect example of that! I loved getting this book in audio and will recommend it to everyone I know!

The Last One Was A Bit Better . . .

Even though this one was really good, the last one was still the best out of all of them (that’s why I only give 4 stars instead of the 5 I gave the previous story). That being said, though, I still really liked it a lot. I LOVED Lola’s (the female lead) snarky attitude and quick comebacks. They ALWAYS made me laugh and made me wanna be her friend in her real life, especially how she got her revenge on her cheating ex in the beginning. I could understand her hesitation to love & relationship given the way she grew up and how her father acted. I was a little worried that Silas (the male lead) would be the same world-class jerk that Archer was for most of the book after seeing the way he acted at Lola’s birthday get-together (and I don’t consider this a spoiler given that we saw it play out in the last book), but I was happily surprised that he wasn’t. He seemed a genuinely good friend to Lola. And even when he wasn’t, we (the reader) knew why pretty earlier on. Well, we didn’t know EXACTLY why until much later, but we DID get the hint that something horrible happened specifically ON Lola’s birth DATE a long time ago pretty early on. I am also glad that Trent (Silas' half-brother) didn't turn out to be a complete jerk, too. So many times in romance novels, the "other guy" turns out to be a complete psycho (or a controlling jerk); I'm always like, "Why can't the 'other guy' be normal & just not 'the one' for the woman?" So I am happy the author didn't make Trent into the "bad guy'. 👍🏻 It also took them a LONG time to FINALLY admit their feelings for one another and get together (that’s also why I only gave it 4 stars; half the time, I was like, “C’mon, Silas! Just tell her already! She’s not gonna judge you or think bad about you”). It just felt a little to drawn-out at times, I guess, is what I’m saying. But, like I said, over all, it was a good story & a good ending to the series! 👍🏻😊

What a great end to the series. I really enjoyed Lola & Silas’ story.
Teddy Hamilton’s voice is like warm butter.

Slow Burn. but so worth it

i love charity work. this book just like just one night will have place in my heart it put me in my feeling and i seriously love how they go from stranger to friends to lover. I feel like closes connection to lola. Im glad that it doesnt just pick up from Finn and Grace but from the start of their relationship. This story is the perfect end to the series and cant wait to see what else is in store. this 18

The banter between Lola and Silas is epic!! I haven't laughed that hard in a while...

Silas has intrigued me from the very first time he was introduced in the other books. There is just something about him! And now I totally get why he had my attention... The broken hearted man is not one that will let you see the true turmoil going through him.
He is a beautiful soul! And I loved him instantly.

Lola is the best in every way! I loved her story and the way she never backs down. But her love is one of the best gifts that she can give.

Their story is one of the best I have read. What they struggle with to overcome... Their love and loyalty to each other... The fierceness of that love is one for the books!

This story is such a wonderful end to this series but I know I will see them in the future.
These characters are truely wonderful to read!

This is a Last Round you’ll remember!

Charity Ferrell really brought it all home in Last Round! Lola and Silas were such a strong ending to this series and I loved the dynamic and depth of their personal stories, as well as their love story. I crave angst and this book gave me my fill without it feeling like a heavy read.

I listened to the audio of this book and really enjoyed it. The story flowed nicely for listening and both the narrators were pleasant to listen to. Charity’s books are some of my favorite listens.

I also want to point out that the best friend trope was also done in this series in the book prior to this one so I was curious to see how similar they’d be. It honestly seemed like there was potential it’d be hard to pull off back to back in a series, but it clearly wasn’t a hurdle for Charity. She did an amazing job delivering two books that are definitely their own stories and both such great reads! I was really amazed by how effortlessly she had the same trope twice in a row unfold in their own unique ways.

Cannot wait to read/listen to whatever Charity has in store of us next, but I’m sad to see this series come to a close as well.
