Deep below the Arctic ice in a sinister government laboratory, alien scientists called the Ghin conduct hideous experiments on human victims in cooperation with the US government. But when one Ghin scientist betrays his handlers and turns the laboratory into a slaughterhouse, the shadow agency that oversees the operation initiates the Judas Protocol, unleashing a Special Ops unit to conceal the government's involvement and to terminate both the scientist and his allies. But the Ghin are not prepared to die quietly....

This was an impulse buy. I had never heard of the author, but I loved the summary. A black op under Antarctica, with aliens, was hard for me to pass up. I listened for over 3 hours. Their were aliens, Russians, Chinese, Americans and mad scientists. It was chocked full of acronyms, military weapons which were all described in detail and lots of fighting. For me it all got too confusing and got to the point where I just did not care. I really liked the American military squad called Disco Team. So many different organizations were fighting so many other organizations that it was confusing. Even the Aliens were split into two different camps. I think Meyer has something interesting, but he has to make it more understandable and make us care about at least one of the factions and stay with them longer, instead of jumping all over the place.
Peter has a great voice for this type of book
