Molly Madison is on the trail of another criminal.

When Molly’s newest dog goes missing in Hillside Park, her Saint Berdoodle—and his amazing nose—help her track the border collie. After locating the dog, Molly literally stumbles across an old leather satchel stuffed with hundred-dollar bills.

Her ex-boyfriend, Detective Miguel Vasquez, turns up to investigate and lets slip that the money could be part of the Schlossberg ransom. While the cops spread out to search the area, Molly reads about the crime, learning a wealthy man’s son was abducted on his way home from school a decade earlier. Though the father gathered the demanded ransom, neither the teen nor his kidnappers were ever found.

When the cops find human bones not far from where Molly discovered the money, Vasquez asks her to bring Noodle back to search a larger swath of the brushy terrain. They find a number of miscellaneous items before the Saint Berdoodle locates a skull.

When a good friend asks her to investigate, Molly dives in, questioning the missing teen’s old friends, teachers, and family. With her loyal dogs as back-up, she digs deeper, uncovering someone desperate enough to kill to keep past crimes buried.

the automated narration sucked. put a human back to reading it. the story was good but you did not do the author any favors

Virtual Voice

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series that were narrated by Therese Plummer. This one is done by a virtual voice and, while the story is good, the book is awful. The virtual voice sounds the same for all characters, which makes it hard to follow.
I will not get any more books read by a virtual voice. I really struggled with getting this one, but liked the series so much I wanted to get the next book.

Story good, AI Narration Bad

I really like the Molly Madison series. They’re cute, fun stories and the narrator on the first two books did an amazing job, however, this AI narration was absolute garbage. I almost DNF’d this several times because the narration was so bad. You couldn’t tell where phrases started and stopped or who was supposed to be speaking. If you’re interested in this series, do yourself a favor and read the book rather than listen to this mess.

So disappointed

I was so happy to see that the 3rd book in the Molly Madison Dog Wrangler series was available in audio. The first 2 books, narrated by Thérèse Plummer, were among my favorite listens. Couldn't wait to listen to the 3rd book. Unfortunately, this book was narrated by virtual voice, of which I am certainly NOT a fan. It is awful. I got so lost, I had to keep backing it up to find out which character was talking. I have not finished it yet, don't know if I will even finish it. Will probably just go to the end to find out how it ended. In the future, I will be more alert, I didn't notice it was narrated by virtual voice, they are terrible.

I didn’t realize it until after I bought it but the narrator is computer generated. Avoid the audio book!

VIRTUAL VOICE ISNOT 4 ME!!!

I really like this series! The dogs and their training are great. I enjoyed the narrater from the other two books and would rather listen to virtual than physically read. But with the accent on wrong syllables, and so many mispronounced words, and the lack of voice change among characters, it was very hard to understand. I am still going to get the next book, regardless of format. I highly recommend this series.
