This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Really not worth listening to
Firstly the narrator's voice was extremely monotonous to listen to. I have listened to many books, really enjoyed them, but this was really not my scene. I couldn't listen to it for long periods.
Secondly, the story was too drawn out and the end, uninteresting. What a pity Iris didn't pursue her modeling career, it would have brought her out of her "drab" existence. Thanks anyway
