Resumen del Editor

Rowen Locke has won the battle. But from the shadows comes an ancient enemy - a calculating and merciless foe who has been waiting centuries for the chance to strike. Despite all he has already suffered and sacrificed, Rowen finds himself mired in a war bigger and more terrible than anything he could have imagined.

The world's only hope lies in Knightswrath, whose hard-won powers he has only begun to understand, let alone control. Calling upon unlikely new allies, Rowen must raise an army to defeat the vengeful Dragonkin before everything he loves becomes a smoldering ruin.

It dragged on and on

I really wanted to like this series. It started off with so much potential. However after the middle of the second book I just wanted to reach the end .It seemed to just drag on. The main characters at first was likable but then he just got really annoying and never grew as a character. I think I just felt like I was being punished just to finish the series because I hate leaving a few series unfinished. I'm just glad it's over.

Amazing conclusion to the series

Never been a fantasy book reader in the past but this series has had me totally hooked. Craig Beck does a great job of bringing the conclusion of Rowan Locke's journey to an exciting end

A Great End to the Trilogy..

Any additional comments?

This book is the conclusion to The Dragonkin Trilogy.

The story line had a difficult battle and a new enemy and further character development.

There was suspense, action, a swinging sword, and compelling teamwork.

I don't want to give too much away in this book either, but I will say it was a Satisfying Great End to the Trilogy.

Craig Beck did well with the narration.

very rushed

the final book of this trilogy felt very rushed unfortunately. From the beginning you could sense that there could have been 2 more books explaining the more of the story in detail. Very sad to see something that started so great end like this.

Rushed

Too many fight scenes left out, what the hell man. you had room for 4 or five good books, the ending sucked a big one.

Unimpressed

This story started off well, but the characters never fully developed. The author needs to learn how to let a lead character develop in the story which never happened. The lead character "Loke" irritated me the whole story. He just fumbled around from one mess up to another which makes it unbelievable that he didn't get killed off from the beginning. And the end of the trilogy, snoozer. What a waste of three credits.

An Excellent Conclusion to the Dragonkin Trilogy

Kingsteel takes all of the events from the first two books and wraps everything up nice and neat, giving a satisfying conclusion to this epic fantasy trilogy. I’ve enjoyed this epic fantasy trilogy more than most due to the originality of everything. The author created a unique story, environment, races, and magic system, but what I enjoyed most was the unique and diverse cast of characters, who I’ve grown attached to throughout the trilogy. The characters act in realistic and believable ways, and even the antagonists are easy to get attached to. The only problem I had with this novel is that the narrator would pause in the middle of a sentence and that would break my sense of immersion. I didn’t notice it in the first two novels, and thankfully, I didn’t notice it throughout the whole novel, just in a few specific parts. Overall, the narrator did a good job giving unique and distinct voices to all the different characters and varying his volume based on what was happening in the book. This book and the trilogy as a whole are definite worth a listen.

Manual on how to butcher a Good Story

What would have made Kingsteel better?

There are so many things wrong with this last book of the Dragonkin trilogy that its hard to list them all but I shall try.
1. Mistakes in the story. For example One moment a character is sitting and then the next line is: takes a step towards.
2. To much focus on minor story lines and inner monologue and not enough dedication to the main story.
3. The Most useless and whingy Hero it has been my misfortune to read about.
4. The ending leaves you wondering if someone cut 500 pages out of the book and didn't tell you about it.
5. To many repetitive explanations. How many times do we have to know a certain fact before we understand that its an important fact.
6: No Character evolvement. Rather more character Devolvement. The Rowen in this last book is a boring 2 dimensional character that you really dont care what happens too.

What could Michael Meyerhofer have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Michael Meyerhofer is a great writer. Yes, it seems odd for me to say this but he is. I have no idea what went wrong with books 2 and 3 of the Dragonkin Trilogy because book one was a well built universe and persona gallery with only minor annoyances.

What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Craig Beck did a great job on the Narration. Cadence and volume seems good.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Im sad to say..No..

Any additional comments?

I will keep my eye on Micheal Meyerhofer in the hopes he will grow into his own and that we will some time in the future have a Fantasy writer that he gave us the hope he was in Watchfire (Book one of this Trilogy)
